Possible Causes
Faulty trigger or mode switch, Defective main control PCB, Communication error between handle PCB and motor PCB, Low battery voltage under load
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power off and remove the battery before opening any covers.
- Check battery level: Fully charge the battery until all LEDs indicate full. Low voltage can limit available modes.
- Clean mode buttons: If the model has a separate mode button, ensure it is not stuck or contaminated. Wipe around the button with a dry cloth.
- Reset the unit: Remove the battery for 1–2 minutes, then reinstall and try again. Some Xiaomi models reset the control PCB this way.
- Test trigger operation: Squeeze and release the trigger multiple times. If the vacuum cuts in and out or does not respond consistently, the trigger switch assembly may be failing and should be replaced.
- If issue persists on full battery: The main control PCB or handle PCB is likely faulty. Replacement of the main body electronics is recommended rather than board-level repair.
