Possible Causes
Failed motor hall sensor, Damaged motor PCB, Loose motor connector, Broken motor wiring after impact
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before opening the motor housing. Do not touch any capacitors on the PCB.
- Check for obvious damage: Inspect the exterior of the main body for cracks or deformation from a fall. If the housing is cracked near the motor, internal damage is likely.
- Reseat motor connector: If you are comfortable opening the unit, remove the screws on the main body, carefully separate the halves, and locate the motor connector on the PCB. Unplug and replug it firmly.
- Inspect wiring: Look for pinched or broken wires between the PCB and motor. Do not operate the unit with exposed copper conductors.
- Reassemble and test: If F1 persists, the motor hall sensor or motor PCB is defective. Replace the complete motor assembly rather than attempting sensor-level repair.
