Possible Causes
Blocked cyclone air path, Leaking seals around dust bin, Faulty pressure sensor on PCB, Dust contamination in sensor tube
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power off and remove the battery before disassembling the dust bin or cyclone.
- Clean cyclone thoroughly: Remove the dust bin and cyclone assembly. Separate all removable parts and clear any dust cakes or debris from the cyclone cones and mesh.
- Check seals and gaskets: Inspect the rubber seals around the dust bin, cyclone base, and connection to the motor housing. Ensure they are seated correctly and not torn.
- Inspect sensor port: Some Xiaomi models have a small hole or tube leading from the cyclone to a pressure sensor on the PCB. Gently clear this port with a soft brush or compressed air; do not insert sharp objects.
- Reassemble carefully: Make sure all parts click into place and there are no gaps between the bin and main body.
- If F2 remains: The pressure sensor or main PCB is likely faulty. Replacement of the main body electronics is required for a permanent fix.
