Possible Causes
Faulty Wi-Fi/BLE module on PCB, Antenna cable damage, Firmware corruption, Router incompatibility or weak signal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: This is a low-voltage communication issue; no special electrical hazard, but do not open the unit while connected to power.
- Check network: Ensure your router is powered and broadcasting 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (many Xiaomi devices do not support 5 GHz for pairing).
- Reset network settings: Follow the user manual to reset the vacuum's network (often by holding a specific button combination until a tone or indicator appears).
- Move closer to router: Bring the vacuum within a few meters of the router during pairing to ensure strong signal.
- Update app and firmware: Use the latest Xiaomi Home app. If the vacuum briefly connects, check for firmware updates and apply them.
- If F5 persists: The internal Wi-Fi/BLE module or antenna may be faulty. This does not affect core cleaning functions, but restoring connectivity requires replacement of the main control PCB.
