Possible Causes
Dust sensor window blocked, Sensor PCB contamination, Failed dust sensor module, Loose sensor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before opening any covers near the sensor area.
- Locate sensor: On many Xiaomi cordless vacuums, the dust sensor is located near the air path or cyclone outlet, behind a small window or grille.
- Clean sensor window: Use a soft, dry brush or a microfiber cloth to gently clean the sensor window. Do not use liquids or sharp tools.
- Blow out dust: Use compressed air (short bursts) to clear dust from the sensor chamber. Keep the can upright to avoid moisture.
- Check connector (advanced): If accessible, verify that the sensor's small connector is firmly seated on the PCB.
- If F6 remains: The dust sensor module or its circuit is defective. Replace the dust sensor PCB or the entire main body assembly, depending on parts availability.
