How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and disconnect from charger before opening the unit.
- Check for lock mode: Some Xiaomi models have a child lock or key lock. Refer to the manual to disable any lock function using button combinations.
- Inspect for moisture: Look for signs of liquid around buttons or display. If present, allow the unit to dry for at least 48 hours before retrying.
- Open handle (advanced): If comfortable, open the handle/display area and check that the button PCB or ribbon cable is firmly connected to the main board.
- Replace interface PCB: If the buttons still do not respond, replace the button/display PCB or the entire handle assembly.
