Possible Causes
Faulty power adapter, Broken charging dock contacts, Damaged charging port on vacuum, Internal charging PCB failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger before inspecting. Do not use a damaged adapter.
- Test outlet and adapter: Confirm the wall outlet works with another device. If possible, test the adapter with a multimeter or try another original Xiaomi adapter.
- Inspect dock/port: Check the charging dock contacts or DC jack for bent pins, corrosion, or dust. Clean gently with a dry brush.
- Bypass dock (if possible): If your model supports direct charging, plug the adapter directly into the vacuum to rule out a faulty dock.
- Check battery seating: Ensure the battery is fully inserted and latched. Some models will not charge if the battery is loose.
- If still no response: The internal charging PCB or BMS is likely defective. Replace the charging dock (if external) or the battery pack/main body assembly as appropriate.
