Overcurrent / Motor Overload Protection
Vacuum stops shortly after starting; motor cuts out and an E2 indicator or two flashing LEDs appear, often when using high power mode.

Possible Causes
Blocked floor nozzle, Clogged extension tube, Severely dirty pre‑motor filter, Motor fan obstruction
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF and remove the battery before clearing any blockages.
- Check for blockages: Detach the floor head, wand, and any tools. Look through the wand and nozzle for clogs (hair, dust bunnies, small objects). Remove debris by hand or with a straight (not sharp) rod.
- Clean the brush roll: On the motorised floor head, remove the brush bar (usually via a release latch or coin‑turn end cap). Cut away hair and threads with scissors, avoiding the bristles. Refit securely.
- Clean filters: Remove the dust bin and take out the pre‑motor filter (often a foam or fabric filter). Tap gently outdoors to remove dust. If the manual allows, rinse under lukewarm water and let it dry completely (at least 24 hours) before refitting.
- Inspect air paths: Check the cyclone assembly and dust bin inlet for compacted dust. Empty the bin and wipe with a dry cloth.
- Test on low power first: Reassemble, refit the battery, and test on the lowest power setting. If it runs normally, then try higher power. If E2 returns immediately with clear airflow, the motor may be drawing excessive current.
Persistent E2 with clear airflow indicates a failing motor or motor control PCB. Professional diagnosis and likely replacement of the motor assembly is recommended.
