Possible Causes
Clogged pre‑motor filter, Blocked cyclone assembly, Dust bin overfilled, Blocked mesh screen in dust container
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning filters or the dust bin.
- Empty the dust bin: Detach the bin and empty it completely. Wipe the interior with a dry cloth.
- Clean the cyclone and mesh: Remove the cyclone core and metal/plastic mesh screen. Tap gently to dislodge fine dust. Use a soft brush to clean holes and screens.
- Service the pre‑motor filter: Remove the foam/fabric filter. Tap off dust outdoors. If the manual allows, rinse under lukewarm water without detergents. Squeeze out excess water gently and let it dry for at least 24 hours.
- Check the post‑motor filter: If accessible, inspect and clean or replace the HEPA/post‑motor filter according to the user manual.
- Reassemble correctly: Ensure all seals and gaskets are seated properly to prevent air leaks.
After thorough cleaning and drying, refit all components and test. If E7 persists with clean filters and normal suction, the airflow sensor or control PCB may be faulty and require professional service.
