Battery Voltage / Cell Imbalance Error
Vacuum powers on but shuts off randomly; E9 or a battery icon with an exclamation mark appears even after charging.

Possible Causes
Aged Li‑ion cells with reduced capacity, Internal cell imbalance detected by BMS, Loose connection inside battery pack, Over‑temperature in battery
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and allow it to cool if it feels warm. Do not open the battery casing.
- Fully charge the battery: Place on the original Zanussi charger until all LEDs indicate full charge.
- Cool‑down cycle: If the battery or charger becomes hot, unplug and allow to cool before resuming charging.
- Check runtime: After full charge, run the vacuum continuously on low power and time how long it operates. If runtime is significantly below the specification, the battery is worn.
- Inspect external damage: Look for cracks, swelling, or burn marks on the battery pack. If present, discontinue use immediately.
Persistent E9 or very short runtime indicates the battery pack must be replaced. Use only a genuine Zanussi replacement pack compatible with your cordless vacuum model.
