Vacuum body becomes unusually hot to the touch near the motor area, even on low power.

Safety first: Switch OFF, remove the battery, and allow the unit to cool fully.

• Clean vents: Use a soft brush or vacuum to clear dust from all cooling vents and grilles around the motor housing.
• Verify filters: Ensure the correct Zanussi filters are installed and not missing. Do not operate without filters.
• Reduce ambient temperature: Use the vacuum in a cooler room and avoid prolonged use on maximum power.

If the vacuum still becomes very hot quickly, the motor may be failing. Continued use risks permanent damage; have the motor assembly inspected and replaced if necessary.
