Vacuum does not respond after long storage; no lights, no charging indication.

Safety first: Inspect the battery for swelling or damage before attempting to charge.

• Use original charger: Connect the genuine Zanussi charger and leave the battery on charge for at least 30–60 minutes, even if no lights appear initially.
• Try different outlet: Confirm the mains socket is working and not controlled by a switch or timer.
• Check charger LED: If the charger shows no light at all, the charger itself may be faulty.

If the vacuum remains completely unresponsive after extended charging attempts, the battery pack is likely irrecoverable and should be replaced. If a new battery also will not charge, the internal charging circuit in the vacuum or dock requires professional repair.
