Vacuum leaves lines of debris behind and does not pick up well from carpets.

Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floor head.

• Inspect brush bristles: Check if bristles are worn down, uneven, or matted with hair. Clean thoroughly or replace the brush roll if worn.
• Check brush rotation: Spin the brush by hand; it should rotate freely without sticking.
• Clear suction channel: Look into the rear of the nozzle where debris enters the wand. Remove any compacted dust or objects.
• Use correct mode: Ensure the motorised brush mode is enabled and the vacuum is set to the appropriate power level for carpets.

If performance remains poor with a clean, spinning brush and clear channels, the floor head assembly may need replacement.
