Possible Causes
Loose connector on inlet valve, Broken wire in door harness, Faulty main control board output on AEG dishwasher
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap before inspection.
- Listen for valve click: At the start of a cycle, you should hear a faint click and water entering. If not, suspect valve control.
- Check valve connector: Access the inlet valve and ensure its electrical connector is firmly attached.
- Inspect door harness: The wiring passing through the door hinge area can break from flexing. Check for damaged wires and repair if necessary.
- Control board diagnosis: If wiring and valve are OK, the main PCB may not be sending power to the valve and may need replacement.
