Possible Causes
Worn or damaged door gasket, Blocked lower spray arm causing water to hit door, Overfilling due to level sensor issues, Warped door or tub lip on AEG dishwasher
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and avoid slipping on spilled water.
- Inspect door gasket: Examine the rubber seal around the door for splits, flattening, or gaps, especially at the bottom corners.
- Clean gasket and mating surfaces: Wipe away grease and debris from the gasket and the tub lip to ensure a good seal.
- Check spray pattern: Ensure the lower spray arm is not cracked or blocked, which can cause jets to spray directly at the door.
- Replace gasket if damaged: Pull out the old gasket and press in a new AEG-compatible door seal, starting at the top center and working down both sides.
