Possible Causes
Closed or low-pressure water supply tap, Blocked inlet hose or inlet filter at Aquacontrol hose, Faulty water inlet valve, Faulty flow meter or pressure sensor on AEG dishwasher
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off the dishwasher with the power button and unplug it or switch off the circuit breaker. Close the water tap before disconnecting any hoses.
- Check water supply: Ensure the kitchen water tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open and that household water pressure is normal. Try running a nearby tap to confirm good flow.
- Inspect inlet hose: Pull the dishwasher out slightly to access the rear or side. Check the AEG Aquacontrol or standard inlet hose for kinks, crushing, or sharp bends. Straighten the hose and ensure it is not trapped under the machine.
- Clean inlet filter: Turn off the water tap. Unscrew the inlet hose from the tap and from the dishwasher (if accessible). At each end, remove the small mesh filter with needle-nose pliers, rinse under running water, and reinstall.
- Reset and test: Reconnect the hose, open the water tap fully, restore power, and run a short program to see if the error clears.
- If still faulty: The water inlet valve or flow meter/pressure sensor may be defective. These are internal, mains-voltage components; if you are not experienced, contact an AEG service technician.
