Possible Causes
Blocked pressure chamber or air trap, Faulty pressure sensor, Stuck water inlet valve on AEG dishwasher
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap.
- Check for overfill: Open the door and see if the water level is above the normal filter level. If so, manually remove excess water with a sponge.
- Clean pressure system: On many AEG models, a pressure hose runs from the sump to a pressure sensor. If accessible, remove the hose and blow through it to clear blockages. Clean any pressure chamber or air trap of grease and debris.
- Inspect inlet valve: Ensure the inlet valve is not stuck open (water entering even when off). If water continues to flow with power off and tap open, the valve is faulty and must be replaced.
- Test again: After cleaning and reassembly, restore power and run a short cycle to see if the error clears.
