How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power. Water may spill when hoses are removed.
- Clean filters: Remove and thoroughly clean the coarse and fine filters.
- Check sump: Inspect the sump for debris that could block the drain pump inlet.
- Inspect drain hose: Disconnect the hose at the sink or disposer and flush it with water. Remove any kinks or clogs.
- Check air gap: If your installation has an air gap on the sink, remove the cap and clean out any debris.
- Test drain pump: If the pump hums but does not move water, or is silent, it may be defective and should be replaced.
