Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC temperature sensor, Damaged NTC wiring, Poor connection at control board, Control board input fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the sump or control area.
- Locate NTC sensor: On most Asko dishwashers, the NTC is mounted in the sump or near the heater. Access from inside the tub (through the sump) or from below, depending on model.
- Inspect connector: Ensure the NTC plug is fully seated and free of corrosion or moisture.
- Test resistance: With the sensor disconnected, measure its resistance at room temperature using a multimeter. Compare to Asko specifications for your model. A reading of 0Ω (short) or infinite (open) indicates a failed sensor.
- Check wiring to control: Trace the harness from the NTC to the control board and look for pinched or damaged wires.
- Replace NTC if faulty: Install a new Asko NTC sensor if readings are out of spec. If the sensor and wiring are good but F10 persists, the control board input circuit may be defective and require replacement.
