Possible Causes
Dirty turbidity sensor window, Failed turbidity sensor, Wiring issue to sensor, Excessive debris in sump affecting readings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before working inside the tub or sump.
- Clean sump and filters: Remove all filters and thoroughly clean the sump area to remove grease and food particles that can cloud the water and affect sensor readings.
- Locate turbidity sensor: On many Asko models, the turbidity sensor is mounted in the sump wall or side of the tub as a small plastic module with wires.
- Clean sensor window: Gently wipe the sensor lens or window with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Do not scratch the surface.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the sensor connector is secure and the harness is not damaged.
- Test cycle: Reassemble and run a normal cycle with no dishes and a dishwasher cleaner to remove internal buildup. If F11 returns, the turbidity sensor may need replacement.
