Possible Causes
Leak from hose or sump, Cracked tub or pump housing, Loose clamp on circulation or drain hose, Faulty anti-flood switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and turn off water. Expect water in the base pan.
- Remove base water: Take off the lower front panel and soak up all water from the base pan with towels or a sponge. Slightly tilt the dishwasher forward to drain trapped water.
- Inspect for leaks: Run a short fill-only test with the front panel off (carefully, with power restored). Watch hoses, the sump, and pump housings for drips or sprays.
- Tighten clamps: If you see seepage at hose connections, tighten the clamps or replace them if corroded.
- Check sump and door seal: Inspect the sump gasket and door gasket for cracks or deformation that could allow leaks.
- If no leak is visible: The anti-flood switch may be sticking or faulty. Replace the Asko anti-flood/float switch if it continues to trigger with a dry base.
