Possible Causes

Faulty pressure sensor, Blocked pressure hose or air trap, Partially closed water supply, Defective water inlet valve

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power at the breaker and close the water supply valve before inspection.

  • Confirm water supply: Verify the supply valve is fully open and that other fixtures have normal pressure.
  • Clean filters: Remove the lower rack and filter assembly inside the tub. Clean the coarse and fine filters thoroughly to ensure proper water circulation and level sensing.
  • Inspect pressure hose: Remove the lower front kick panel. Locate the small rubber or plastic hose running from the sump/air trap to the pressure sensor. Check for kinks, blockages, or water trapped in a way that could prevent proper sensing. Gently blow through the hose (disconnected) to clear any debris.
  • Check for leaks into base: If water has collected in the base pan, it can affect level sensing. Tilt the dishwasher slightly forward (with towels ready) to see if water drains out, then investigate for leaks.
  • If F2 persists: The pressure sensor or inlet valve may be faulty. Replacement of the Asko pressure sensor or water inlet valve is typically required and may be best handled by a qualified technician.
