How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the dishwasher before cleaning. Wear gloves if using chemical cleaners.
- Clean filters thoroughly: Remove all filters and soak them in hot soapy water. Scrub with a soft brush.
- Clean door and seals: Wipe the door edges, gasket, and around the hinges with a cloth and mild detergent.
- Run cleaning cycle: Use a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed upright in the top rack. Run the hottest program without dishes.
- Check drain hose: If smell persists, remove and flush the drain hose with hot water to remove grease deposits.
- Use regularly: Run regular hot cycles and avoid leaving dirty dishes for many days without starting a program.
