Dishwasher has a bad smell inside, even when not in use.

• Clean door and seals: Wipe the door edges, gasket, and around the hinges with a cloth and mild detergent.
• Run cleaning cycle: Use a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed upright in the top rack. Run the hottest program without dishes.
• Check drain hose: If smell persists, remove and flush the drain hose with hot water to remove grease deposits.
• Use regularly: Run regular hot cycles and avoid leaving dirty dishes for many days without starting a program.
