Possible Causes
Dirty or damaged door gasket, Blocked overflow channels at front, Overfilling due to inlet fault, Spray arm hitting door and directing water at seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap. Mop up any spilled water to prevent slipping.
- Clean door gasket: Wipe the rubber door seal all around with warm soapy water to remove grease and debris. Pay attention to the bottom corners.
- Inspect gasket for damage: Look for tears, flattening, or gaps. Replace the door gasket if damaged.
- Check spray arms: Ensure spray arms are not cracked and are not hitting large dishes, which can deflect water toward the door.
- Check water level: During operation, open the door briefly to check that water level is not excessively high. If it is, investigate inlet/level faults (E04/E08/E16).
- Clean bottom door area: Remove any debris from the bottom of the door and the inner lip where water returns to the tub.
