Possible Causes

Aquastop inlet hose failure, Water inlet valve coil open, Blocked inlet filter at tap or hose, Low or no water supply pressure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap before any work. Do not work on live wiring or with the water supply open.

  • Check water supply: Ensure the kitchen tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open and that there is normal water pressure at the tap.
  • Inspect inlet hose and Aquastop: Pull the dishwasher forward slightly, inspect the Aquastop hose (the thick hose with a plastic box at the tap end). Make sure it is not kinked or crushed. Unscrew it from the tap and clean the small metal filter inside the hose end.
  • Clean inlet filter at machine: With the hose removed from the dishwasher side (if accessible), check for debris in the inlet connection filter and rinse it under running water.
  • Reset power: Reconnect the hose, open the tap fully, plug the appliance back in and try a short program. If E01 returns immediately, the Aquastop or inlet valve is likely defective.
  • When to call a technician: If the Aquastop box is warm, buzzing loudly, or shows signs of water ingress, or if you measure no continuity on the inlet valve coil, the complete Aquastop hose or inlet valve assembly should be replaced by a qualified technician.
