Dishwasher displays E08 and may have poor washing performance; water level appears too low in the tub.

Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before moving the appliance.

• Check drain hose height: Ensure the drain hose is installed at the correct height (usually 40–100 cm above floor level). If it is too low, water can siphon out during filling, causing low level.
• Inspect drain hose routing: Make sure the hose forms a high loop and is not inserted too far into the standpipe or sink trap.
• Clean filters: Remove and clean the sump filters to ensure proper circulation.
• Run a test cycle: After correcting hose installation, run a short program and observe the water level after filling (it should cover the filter area but not reach the door opening).
• Further diagnosis: If E08 persists, the pressure switch or water matrix may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
