How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before any inspection.
- Locate NTC sensor: On Balay dishwashers, the NTC is usually mounted on the flow heater or in the sump area. Access via side panel or base.
- Check connection: Ensure the NTC plug is fully seated and free of corrosion or moisture.
- Visual inspection: Look for damaged insulation or pinched wires along the harness route.
- Advanced test: With the NTC disconnected and the appliance unplugged, measure its resistance at room temperature. A reading of near 0 Ω or infinite Ω indicates a faulty sensor.
- Replace if faulty: Swap the NTC sensor with a compatible Balay part. If E11 persists after replacement, the control board may be defective and requires professional repair.
