Dishwasher displays E13; water entering the machine may be excessively hot (connected to hot water supply).

Safety first: Turn off the water tap and unplug the dishwasher.

• Check water connection: Balay dishwashers are usually designed for cold or moderately warm water. If connected to a hot water line (>60°C), reconnect to a cold water supply.
• Allow cooling: Let the machine cool down completely, then reconnect to the correct water line and try a new cycle.
• Verify boiler settings: If connected to a central hot water system, ensure the temperature is within the range specified in the user manual.
• Service needed: If E13 appears even with cold water connection, the inlet temperature sensor or control board may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
