Possible Causes
Aquastop valve stuck open mechanically, Control board not closing inlet valve, Flow meter not registering and causing continuous fill, Debris in inlet valve seat
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately close the water tap and unplug the dishwasher to prevent flooding.
- Observe water behavior: With the machine unplugged and the tap open, check if water continues to flow into the tub. If yes, the inlet valve/Aquastop is stuck open.
- Clean inlet valve: Remove the inlet hose and clean the filter. Sometimes debris can prevent the valve from closing fully.
- Replace Aquastop if needed: If water still flows when the machine is off, the Aquastop hose assembly must be replaced.
- Control issue: If water only overfills during operation, the control board or flow meter may be at fault. This requires professional diagnosis.
