Possible Causes
Closed or partially closed water tap, Blocked inlet filter, Kinked inlet hose, Faulty Aquastop valve not opening
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap before disconnecting hoses.
- Verify tap is open: Ensure the water tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open.
- Clean inlet filter: Remove the inlet hose from the tap and clean the small mesh filter. Also check the filter at the dishwasher end if present.
- Check hose routing: Make sure the inlet hose is not kinked or crushed behind the machine.
- Test water flow: With the hose removed from the dishwasher, briefly open the tap into a bucket to confirm strong flow.
- Replace Aquastop if needed: If water flows from the tap but not through the Aquastop when the machine calls for water, the Aquastop hose assembly is likely defective and should be replaced.
