Possible Causes
Worn or damaged door gasket, Blocked spray arm causing water to jet at door, Misaligned door, Overfilling due to level fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and close the water tap.
- Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening for tears, flattening, or gaps. Replace if damaged.
- Check lower spray arm: Ensure the lower spray arm is not cracked and that jets are not blocked, which can cause abnormal spray direction toward the door.
- Level the appliance: Verify the dishwasher is level front-to-back and side-to-side using the adjustable feet.
- Check water level: During a wash, open the door briefly and confirm water is not excessively high. If overfilled, investigate the pressure switch or inlet valve.
