Possible Causes
Closed or kinked inlet hose, Blocked inlet filter at Aquastop hose, Defective water inlet valve, Low household water pressure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher or switch off the circuit breaker and close the water tap before working on the appliance.
- Check water tap: Ensure the water supply tap feeding the dishwasher is fully open and that there is adequate water pressure in the house.
- Inspect inlet hose: Pull the dishwasher forward slightly and verify the inlet hose (often with an Aquastop safety head on Bauknecht models) is not kinked, crushed, or twisted.
- Clean inlet filter: Close the water tap, unscrew the inlet hose from the tap and from the Aquastop or valve end, and remove the small mesh filters. Rinse them under running water to remove limescale or debris, then reinstall.
- Check for leaks in Aquastop: If the Aquastop housing on the hose feels heavy with water or shows signs of leakage, it may have tripped and must be replaced.
- Test fill: Restore power and water, then run a short program to see if the dishwasher now fills correctly. If F1 persists, the inlet valve or Aquastop assembly may be defective and should be tested or replaced by a technician.
