How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal components.
- Clean sump area: Remove filters and thoroughly clean the sump and surrounding area to remove grease and food particles that can cloud the water.
- Locate turbidity sensor: On many Bauknecht dishwashers, the turbidity sensor is mounted on the side of the sump or in the base, with a clear plastic window into the water path.
- Clean sensor window: Gently wipe the sensor window with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Do not scratch the surface.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the sensor connector is firmly seated and the harness is not damaged.
- Component replacement: If F10 persists after cleaning, replace the turbidity sensor assembly.
