Check drying performance: If dishes remain wet and F13 appears, suspect the drying system.
Access fan unit: On many Bauknecht models, the drying fan is located in the door or top panel. Remove the inner door or top cover to access it.
Inspect for blockages: Ensure air ducts are not blocked by insulation, plastic, or debris. Clean any lint or dust from the fan blades.
Test fan: With the fan disconnected and the appliance unplugged, measure motor resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Also check any inline thermostat or thermal fuse.
Replace faulty parts: Install a new fan assembly or thermostat if defective, then reassemble and test a full cycle.
