Possible Causes

Blocked spray arm nozzles, Low water level due to inlet restriction, Weak circulation pump, Blocked sump or filters

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing internal parts.

  • Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms by unscrewing or unclipping them. Rinse under running water and use a toothpick to clear blocked jets.
  • Check water level: Start a program and let the dishwasher fill. Then pause and open the door. Water should cover the sump area and reach just below the door filter frame. If low, revisit inlet hose and filter for restrictions.
  • Clean filters and sump: Ensure all filters are spotless and that no debris is blocking the sump inlet to the circulation pump.
  • Check circulation pump sound: During wash, listen for a strong, steady motor noise. A weak hum or intermittent sound may indicate a failing circulation pump.
  • Re-test: After cleaning, run an intensive program. If F5 returns and spray arms still do not spin, the circulation pump assembly may need replacement.
