Possible Causes
Faulty water level sensor or pressure switch, Blocked pressure hose, Sticking inlet valve, Faulty water softener valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and water supply.
- Check for overfilling: If the tub is too full, manually remove excess water with a container and sponge.
- Inspect pressure hose: Access the pressure switch and its thin hose from the sump. Remove the hose and blow through it to clear any blockage. Clean the connection point on the sump.
- Test inlet valve: If water continues to enter the dishwasher even when off, the inlet valve is stuck open and must be replaced immediately.
- Check water softener valve: On models with integrated softener, ensure the regeneration valve is not stuck open, causing incorrect water routing.
- Re-test: After cleaning and inspection, run a short cycle. Persistent F7 usually indicates a defective pressure switch or sensor that needs replacement.
