Possible Causes

Dirty filters, Food trapped in sump or door seal, Infrequent use with standing water, Grease buildup in hoses

Safety first: Switch off power before deep cleaning.

Clean filters: Remove and scrub all filters with hot soapy water.
Clean sump and seals: Wipe the sump area, door gasket, and around the door edges with a cloth and mild detergent.
Run hot cleaning cycle: Run an empty hot program with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed upright on the top rack.
Leave door ajar: After cycles, leave the door slightly open to allow ventilation and prevent odors.
