Dishwasher does not power on at all; no lights or display.

Safety first: Do not work on live circuits. Unplug the dishwasher before inspecting internal parts.

• Check socket and fuse: Test the wall socket with another appliance. Check and replace the plug fuse (if fitted) with the correct rating.
• Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or crushed sections on the Baumatic power cord. Replace if damaged.
• Test on/off switch: Access the control panel and check that the on/off switch operates mechanically and that its connectors are secure.
• Control board: If power is present at the board but there are no lights or response, the main control board may have failed and will likely need replacement by a technician.
