Dishwasher fills with water but the spray arms do not rotate; dishes remain dirty.

Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher and allow any hot water to cool.

• Clean filters: Remove and thoroughly clean all filters.
• Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms. Rinse under running water and clear blocked jets with a toothpick or fine wire.
• Check for pump noise: Start a cycle and listen. If you hear only a hum or nothing during wash, the circulation pump may be jammed or failed.
• Inspect pump: Access the pump from the base, check for obstructions in the impeller, and remove any debris. If the motor is seized or burnt, replace the circulation pump assembly.
