Possible Causes
Door not fully closed, Faulty door lock switch, Program not selected correctly, Faulty start button
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from mains before removing any panels.
- Check door closure: Ensure the door is firmly closed and not obstructed by tall dishes or cutlery.
- Confirm program selection: Select a standard program and press Start firmly. Some Baumatic models require holding Start for a second.
- Inspect door lock: If the display shows a door symbol or beeps when trying to start, the door lock assembly may not be engaging. Check the latch and strike for wear or misalignment.
- Test start button: If other buttons respond but Start does not, the user interface PCB or button contact may be faulty and require replacement.
