Dishwasher runs but dishes come out dirty or with food residues.

Safety first: Switch off power before removing parts inside the tub.

• Clean filters and spray arms: Remove and clean all filters and spray arms as described above.
• Check water temperature: Ensure the hot water supply (if connected) is at least 50–60°C, or that the dishwasher is heating properly (water should be hot mid-cycle).
• Use correct detergent: Use quality dishwasher tablets or powder and ensure the rinse aid reservoir is filled.
• Load correctly: Avoid blocking the spray arms with large dishes. Do not nest bowls and ensure items do not obstruct the detergent dispenser.
• Run a cleaning cycle: Use a dishwasher cleaner on a hot program to remove grease and limescale from internal parts.
