Possible Causes
Blocked side water matrix, Faulty water distribution valve, Flow restriction in inlet system, Sensor fault in water matrix
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap.
- Inspect side water matrix: Remove the left side panel (typical on Baumatic) and locate the transparent water matrix. Look for heavy limescale, sludge, or stagnant water.
- Clean matrix: Mark hose positions, then remove the matrix. Flush thoroughly with hot water and a mild descaler if needed. Ensure all channels are clear.
- Check distribution valve: Some matrices include a small electric valve. Ensure its connector is secure and there are no visible cracks or leaks.
- Reassemble and test: Refit the matrix and hoses securely, restore power, and run a short cycle. Monitor for correct filling and spray.
- Replace if needed: If E10 persists, the water matrix / distribution assembly may need replacement.
