Possible Causes
Stuck button on control panel, Moisture in control fascia, Faulty user interface PCB, Ribbon cable fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the mains before opening the door panel.
- Check for stuck keys: Press each button on the control panel several times to ensure they move freely and return properly.
- Dry the fascia: If steam has entered the control area, leave the door open and allow the panel to dry for several hours. Avoid using the dishwasher during this time.
- Inspect connections: Remove the inner door panel and check the ribbon cable between the user interface and main control board. Reseat both ends.
- Replace UI board: If E20 persists and buttons are unresponsive or randomly activating, replace the user interface PCB.
