Safety first: Switch off and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning internal parts.

• Clean filters: Remove and thoroughly clean all filters under running water. Ensure no debris remains in the sump.
• Clean spray arms: Remove upper and lower spray arms. Rinse and clear all jets with a toothpick. Reinstall securely.
• Check loading: Avoid blocking the spray arms with large dishes. Do not nest bowls or stack items so water cannot reach surfaces.
• Use correct detergent: Use a reputable dishwasher tablet or powder suitable for hard water if applicable. Ensure rinse aid and salt (if required) are filled.
• Run a hot maintenance cycle: Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to remove grease and limescale from internal components.

If performance remains poor, the circulation pump may be weak and require replacement.
