Possible Causes

Minor internal leak into base tray, Condensation or previous spill not fully dried, Stuck float switch, Damaged base tray

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap. Be prepared for water spillage when moving the appliance.

  • Pull out the dishwasher: Carefully slide the Becken dishwasher out from under the counter.
  • Tilt to drain: Tilt the appliance backward about 30–45° to allow any water in the base tray to run out onto towels. This may temporarily clear E15.
  • Inspect base tray: Remove the bottom cover to inspect the base tray, float, and micro-switch. Ensure the float moves freely and is not stuck by grease or debris.
  • Find the leak source: Check around the circulation pump, drain pump, hoses, and door area for signs of dried water tracks or mineral deposits indicating a slow leak.
  • Repair leaks: Tighten hose clamps, replace cracked hoses, or renew pump seals as needed.

Do not ignore repeated E15 errors; unresolved leaks can cause serious water damage.
