How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher before removing the door inner panel.
- Check dispenser operation: Confirm that detergent tablets remain in the cup after the cycle and E19 is shown.
- Inspect dispenser: Open the door and examine the detergent and rinse aid dispenser for cracks, warping, or detergent buildup. Clean thoroughly.
- Access wiring: Remove the inner door panel to expose the dispenser assembly. Check the solenoid connector and wiring for damage.
- Test solenoid (advanced): Measure resistance across the dispenser solenoid. An open circuit indicates a failed solenoid.
- Replace dispenser: If the solenoid or latch is defective, replace the complete dispenser assembly with the correct Becken part.
A faulty dispenser can lead to poor cleaning; address promptly.
