Possible Causes
Failed circulation pump motor, Jammed impeller, Faulty capacitor (on some models), Wiring fault to pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and close the water tap.
- Listen during wash: After filling, you should hear a strong spraying noise. If you only hear a low hum or silence, the circulation pump is not operating correctly.
- Check for blockages: Remove filters and inspect the sump for foreign objects that could block the pump inlet.
- Access pump: Remove the bottom cover, disconnect the circulation pump, and inspect the impeller. Remove any debris and ensure it spins freely.
- Test motor and capacitor: Measure motor winding resistance and, if fitted, test or replace the start capacitor. Replace the pump assembly if electrically or mechanically defective.
