Possible Causes
Worn or damaged door gasket, Blocked spray arm causing water to jet at the door, Overfilling due to inlet or level fault, Misaligned door
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the dishwasher and turn off the water supply before major disassembly.
- Inspect door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber seal around the tub opening for tears, flattening, or gaps. Replace if damaged.
- Check lower spray arm: Ensure it is not cracked or split and that jets are not blocked, which can cause water to spray directly at the door corners.
- Level the appliance: Use a spirit level to ensure the dishwasher is not leaning forward. Adjust front feet so the unit is slightly tilted back.
- Check for overfill: If water level is excessively high, investigate inlet valve and pressure switch issues before reuse.
