Dishwasher powers on but will not start; Start button unresponsive or cycle will not begin.

Safety: Unplug the dishwasher before removing the control panel.

• Check door closure: Ensure the door is firmly shut and not obstructed by racks or large dishes.
• Verify child lock: On many Beko models, a child lock can be toggled by holding specific buttons. Consult the user manual and disable the lock if active.
• Reset program: Press and hold the Start/Cancel button for several seconds to reset, then reselect a program and try again.
• Inspect door lock: If the machine does nothing when Start is pressed, test the door lock switch for continuity when closed. Replace the door lock assembly if faulty.
