How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the dishwasher. Heating components can retain heat; allow the machine to cool before working.
- Reset: Disconnect power for 5–10 minutes, then retry a short program to rule out a transient error.
- Access NTC: Remove the lower front panel and, if needed, side panels to access the circulation pump/heater assembly. The NTC sensor is usually clipped into the heater housing.
- Inspect and clean: Check for limescale buildup around the sensor. If accessible, gently descale with white vinegar and a cloth.
- Check resistance: Using a multimeter, measure the NTC resistance at room temperature (typically 10–50 kΩ depending on model). If open or shorted, replace the sensor.
- Verify wiring: Ensure the harness from the NTC to the control board is intact and firmly connected.
